Fath was born to Lisa and Greg Fath. She has a younger sister, Victoria “Tori” Fath. She began her career in show business at the age of five, and was voted Miss Kentucky Preteen in 1995. She appeared in print campaigns for Duncan Hines and in a national commercial for Pringles potato chips.
Fath joined Days of our Lives in 1999 as Belle Black’s best friend Mimi Lockhart. She left the show in February 2007, along with onscreen mother Judi Evans.
Fath debuted in the contract role of Gigi Morasco on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live on October 24, 2007. Farah left One Life to Live in June 2011. However, she returned shortly thereafter. Rumors began to circulate that Farah will return to Days as Mimi in January 2012 when OLTL’s last television episode is aired.
On October 10, 2011, Fath returned to OLTL this time as her sister, Stacy, who has plastic surgery to look like her (Gigi). It turned out, though, that in an incident that supposedly left Gigi dead back in June 2011, it was Stacy who perished, leaving Gigi very much alive.
On September 25, 2011, Fath will star on Dirty Soap with many soap opera alumni including her boyfriend, John-Paul Lavoisier.
Fath has known Days of our Lives and Dirty Soap co-star Kirsten Storms for a long time. In the latter, which is a reality show, it is revealed that their friendship has soured and Fath considers Storms as her frenemy. The feud was sidetracked when it was discovered that Storms was growing ill with endometriosis, and Fath could not hide her concern for her former close friend.
As of filming of Dirty Soap in 2011, Fath is dating One Life to Live costar John-Paul Lavoisier, who plays Rex Balsom. In one scene of the show, Fath is seen and heard telling Lavoisier, “If you don’t see yourself with me forever, then back out”. Fath has commented on the show several times that she wonders when Lavoisier will ask her to marry him. In addition, the show has had both of Fath’s parents and Lavoisier’s mother on air; Fath’s father asks her why she’s still with him and Lavoisier’s mother dislikes Fath, which provides tension for the show to exploit. In the teases for the season finale, scheduled to be aired on 13 November 2011, Fath tells Lavoisier, “we’re through” but, later in the episode Lavoisier and Fath make up and continue the relationship
