Biography of Bel Powley

Isobel Dorothy Powley was born on 7 March 1992 in London, England, is a British actress best known for playing Daisy Millar in the CBBC television series M.I. High. She is the daughter of British actor Mark Powley.

From 2007 until 2008 Powley was one of the lead characters in M.I.High, starring in 26 episodes alongside Rachel Petladwala and Moustafa Chousein-Oglou. In addition to M.I.High, Bel Powley has also appeared numerous other productions such as Murderland (3 episodes, 2009), Little Dorrit (1 episode, 2008), The Bill (1 episode, 2008) and The Whistleblowers (1 episode, 2007).

Powley appeared as Maggie in Tusk Tusk at the Royal Court Theatre, London, in March 2009. On Broadway she was Thomasina in the 2011 revival of Arcadia at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. In October 2011 she returned to the Royal Court as Tilly in Jumpy.
